Twenty Twenty (Old Demos Mixtape)
DJ Economy's new mixtape, is a lo-fi cassette tape compilation of some of the artist's early demo recordings. This collection of tracks highlights the growth and development of DJ Economy's sound, showcasing the artist's evolution as a musician.
A collection of old demos ranging from 2019-2021.
Demos were assembled into a mix that was mastered for tape by JBS in South Africa, and then printed to Fox C90 Type 1 master cassette using a Tascam 202 MKVII. The tape was then played back through a 90s Mackie board for EQ and texture, and recorded via Ableton.

Milo Terrace EP
Milo Terrace EP is a 4 track collaborative project between Los Angeles’s DJ Economy and Johannesburg’s tiro! The two producers first met in 2017 and formally created the label in April of 2022. Milo Terrace was the street where DJ Economy used to live and spend a lot of time with tiro! The 4 tracks on the EP are named after all the cats that resided in that house. The 1st two tracks were individually produced by each of the artists and the 2nd two were collaborative efforts.
